Grand Re-opening with the Red Tail Project’s P51
Grand opening: We were honored by the presence of the Red Tail Project’s P51 and rolling movie theater at our grand re-opening in March of 2015. The incredible story of the Tuskegee Airmen was shared with over a thousand people at this event, including 600 at risk Broward County school children. The experience of this was powerful and humbling for all who attended. Each evening, of the four and a half day event, we honored and supported a local non profit. These included the United Way of Broward County, an organization that serves this community effectively and efficiently. On Vital Flight night, we hosted a group of community leaders and donors and raised money for their mission of transporting people to hospitals that are hundreds of miles away, where other transportation options are not viable. We also invited Honor Flight, a national organization that takes WWII veterans to the WWII Memorial in Washington DC.
